T-Mobile Registration Grants

Dear District and League Volunteer,

Every child should have the opportunity to play Little League®, and we are all too aware of the financial obstacles that many families face that may keep them from participating in youth sports.

This is why T-Mobile and Little League are proud to launch the T-Mobile™ Little League® Call Up Grant program to help make Little League participation more affordable for kids and families around the country. This new grant program is dedicated to helping to cover the cost of player registration fees so that every kid has the chance to participate in their local Little League.

Families who qualify and are interested in joining a local Little League program for the 2020 season, and have not yet registered, are encouraged to apply for this grant opportunity immediately. Families in need who have already registered for the 2020 season can apply to be reimbursed.

We are sharing this opportunity with your league and those in your district in hopes of assisting families in need in your community, as we look to establish this new grant program. We encourage you to visit LittleLeague.org/CallUpGrant to learn more about how families in your community can take advantage of the T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant, including ways to promote the program, who qualifies for this grant, how leagues will receive funds, and other frequently asked questions, as well as how this program was established and T-Mobile’s continuing support of the Little League program. The program will be open until March 31 for grant applications for the 2020 season or until funding is depleted.

We sincerely hope that the T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant will provide much-needed support to the families in need in your community and bring more children to participate in your league. We are extremely grateful to T-Mobile for their incredible support of the Little League program and sharing this passion for offering every kid the chance to experience Little League Baseball and Softball, regardless of their financial or personal situation.

Thank you for your support, for welcoming these families, and your continued dedication to the Little League program.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at   or by calling 570-326-1921.

2019 Fairfax NL 8/9 Minors Champs

Congratulations to Fairfax National's 8/9 tournament team, which won the 8/9 Special Minors championship! The team went undefeated through the four games, and never trailed during the tournament. The championship game was hard fought, going into extra innings before Fairfax National scored three runs in the top of the 7th to win 6-3 over CYA. This is the second year in a row that the Fairfax National 8/9 team won its tournament.  Coach Matt Oliveri, has now lead his team to victory in this tournament in back to back seasons! The Special Minors tournaments are composed of primarily Little League AAA players playing against other teams from across Little League District 10, and were created to give players and coaches experience playing in a Little League-style tournament to gain experience for future Majors tournaments.
